Los Angeles born and Toronto raised, August Riik is a product of both coasts. Discovering his love of music at a young age, he began playing double bass in the fourth grade. While attending a performing arts high school, August found teachers and peers  that pushed his passion and performance. From there, August was  granted numerous opportunities  to  study  with  some  of  the   best  jazz musicians in Canada. Having  completed his degree in jazz performance at McGill University in Montreal,  he  is  finding time  to  explore  music  in  a  new  way.

Andrew Marzotto, age 25, is a Toronto born and based jazz guitarist and composer. He is a 2016 graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where he was a member of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute. At Berklee, he had the incredible opportunity to study with  Mick Goodrick, Joe Lovano, Hal Crook, Danilo Perez, and David Tronzo. He has performed extensively throughout Toronto and Boston as well as across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. In addition to being a Jazz guitarist performing and teaching in Toronto, Andrew has provided guitar work and composition to albums by Young Thug and Jaden Smith.

The season's first Estonian Christmas party 2019 in TO! The Distillery is opening for the first week of the Toronto Christmas Market!

At the same time we are celebrating the opening of the Estonian Music Week 2019 and finishing the first day of the Latitude44 Conference! Lots of interesting guests to network with and special musical performances by August Riik & Andrew Marzetto and DJ-ing by Vaiko Eplik.

Join us for this special party at the exclusive Archeo restaurant at Distillery District. Note that tickets are available only until October 31. Youth tickets are for 18- 30 years old with ID.

The ticket includes a 3 course prefix meal: entrée, a choice of fish or chicken for the main course, dessert. Vegetarian option also available but please order this when buying the ticket.
